HERE'S HOW WE GOT STARTED. . .
Pampered Pups Pastries was created when Deborah Steckly realized the need to create a healthy and nutritious treat for the dogs that were a part of her dog-walking service in Carleton Place from 1999-2003.
She decided to bake her own biscuits and once they became the dog's favourite treat, her clients were convinced by their doggies to stock their pantries. The biscuits were so flavourful and healthy, the dogs were refusing their normal treats.
There was no turning back from that point and now they are available in many fine stores. Since Pampered Pups Pastries has become the BEST, DARNED DOG BISCUITS available she now bakes for her buddies full-time. It is because of these amazing dogs that this new opportunity was born and she will always be thankful for the wonderful memories of the daily walks with each and everyone of them. A special hug goes to BAILEY, ANNIE, SEBASTIEN, ANGIE, SOPHIE, LUCY, BUD, BUSTER, JOEY, YOSHI, SOPHIE, TANK, KOBI and MOWGLI.

Here are some pictures from the Annual Pet Day at the Nutrichem Pharmacy at Lincoln Fields on Richmond Road, Ottawa. Pampered Pups Pastries was there to hand out treats to all the visitors. Bob FM supplied the music.
Bound on over to Willow's Paws and Claws Rescue to check out their new website! Pampered Pups donated a gift basket for their recent inaugural event. Perhaps you even know someone who could give one of their animals a loving forever home.

Shown is our Peanut Butter Party Cake . This is a de -lick-ious cake and will serve up to 8 of your dog's droolin' friends. Ingredients are whole wheat flour, carrot & peanut butter, vanilla, veg oil, organic honey & egg. The frosting ingredients are low-fat cream cheese, vanilla, organic honey & cinnamon. YUM!
Also available is our Banana Party Cake - Ingredients are Banana, egg, butter, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda & cinnamon. Our frosting ingredients are non-fat cream cheese, vanilla & organic honey.
FUNDRAISER
One of Pampered Pups Pastries most 'pupular' flavours is our Fetch-Cheese Sticks.
For the rest of 2008 we will donate 25% of all proceeds raised from the sale of these non-retrievable sticks to a very deserving organization, Country Cat Rescue in Oxford Mills, Ontario.

2008
The Artisan Christmas Craft Show in Almonte
Was a fabulous success. It was a near sell-out for Pampered Pups Pastries over the two-day sale and we now have many new customers in the area. We had customers come back to our table on Saturday to tell us that their fussy dog has now found a new favourite biscuit so we were very happy to hear these success-stories. Our Mixed Christmas Pastries were flying off the shelf (well, table) so there will be some very happy doggies on Christmas morning.
LAWS 3rd Annual Furball was held May 10th, 2008. Once again this was a very popular event, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner, a very entertaining auction and wonderful conversation. Our PAMPERED PUPS basket sold for $90!
FAMILY FUN CARNIVAL AND BAZAAR (to benefit Westminster Pet Sanctuary) at the John Mlacak Centre in Kanata, Ontario, 2500 Campeau Drive (March Rd. Exit from 417)
This was held Sunday, April 20th from 10 - 4 pm. There was Magic with Magical Marvin and Melvin the wonder dog. Carnival Games and Prizes. Hole in one mini putt, Bake Table and Book Table. Exhibitors included - Cat Rescue Network, Multi Menu Pet Foods, Kott Lumber, Ottawa Valley Cat Rescue & Pampered Pups Pastries.

Natural Pet Foods in Carleton Place had their GRAND OPENING on Fri. November 30th

19th Annual Women's Fair - a very successful day for Interval House. A fun day for Pampered Pups Pastries!
October 6th
DOG-GONE WALK-A-THON October 6th, 2007 10:30 am in Smiths Fall, Lower Reach Park.
Unfortunately due to bad weather , there were very few people taking part in the event but we still had a fun time. Most of the participants wore doggie raincoats (cute) and thanks to lots of treats and attention, they all had a dog-gone good time.
GO FOR GUIDE DOGS WALK - Carleton Place
The Guide Dog Walk in CP on May 26th raised approx. $3,000.00. There were 35 participants along with 18 dogs and 2 guide dogs. A very successful walk this year for the Guide Dogs.
LAWS 2nd ANNUAL FURBALL
The LAWS Fur-Ball raised $8,500 for the animals.
2006
Go For Guide Dogs Fundraising Walk - June 10
The Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Assoc. National Specialty - May 26 - June 2.
Pampered Pups Pastries was well received at the CSSA National Event May 27th and 29th, 2006. There were so many beautiful shelties there and a great time was had by all.
Congratulations to all the dogs who participated in the events.
One thing we now know for sure - SHELTIES LOVE OUR BISCUITS!
The LAWS FURBALL was a huge success. Lots of fun, great food, many laughs and a few tears. Our donated gift basket worth $75 was auctioned for $132.50. Our free samples were displayed in a basket and they quickly disappeared. Pampered Pups Pastries is very proud to be a supporter of this wonderful animal shelter and hopes that this event will become an annual fundraiser.
